Professor Layton and the curious Village, Nintendo DS
Professor Layton’s Curious Village is a series of puzzles which range from pretty easy to annoyingly tricky. Most of the puzzles are based on very simple principles and seem easy at first – it’s only after a few attempts at trying to get the worm into the middle of an apple, or trying to get equal amounts of liquid into a couple of jugs that you realize that this could be quite time consuming! It’s well worth the “eureka!” moment when you solve something you’ve spent ages trying to figure out! Nintendo ds and Nintendo wii are up there in the top ranks where video games are concerned.
Ben 10 Protector of Earth, PS2
GOOD GAME! But it should be called Ben 5! The game is very good throughout the levels and the amazing combo attacks! But you only get the following aliens… Fourarms, Heatblast, cannonbolt, XLR8 and Wildvine. Plus the game is far too easy I got this game on Sunday and finished it Monday! But the fun of it is upgrading the aliens. Choosing witch alien you want to be. And you need specific aliens to solve the puzzles. So overall it’s really quite good! PS2 games are still played as much as Ps3 games.
Grand Theft Auto 4, Xbox 360
I have played it a few days now, and have got the hang of the driving. Once mastered, it is so much more flexible than before. Xbox have got this right. Like anything else, there is a learning curve, and until you have reached the top end of it, it is not much fun. But once you have it licked you will find you have much better control of your car. Other than that, great graphics, lovely sandbox game. One to wile away many a long hour. Just give it a bit of time to get used to the driving. Xbox360 seems to be the most common Online gaming system.
