Product Description
The quality and feel is excellent with a metallic case which has dull finish. The screen is of appropriate size for reading and the E-ink display. The touchscreen is responsive to a firm touch and pages can be turned with forward and backward buttons placed at the bottom left of the screen. The pages appear quite quickly but with the usual stutter of E-screens. Quick flipping of pages is provided by holding the pressure on the screen. Particular words and pages can be searched by a special feature. Pages can be earmarked for later reference and note making is possible either with the finger or the stylus. It can also be later erased. A virtual keyboard is provided. The screen comes in portrait or landscape form. Sony's eReader Store provides facility for downloading reasonably priced ebooks. The store even has books which cost below $ 1 and has teamed with Google books increasing the choice available to the user.

The screen has a diagonal display size of 6 "and has has levels of gray scale. storage can be expanded by a memory stick PRO or the SDHC card. The battery works for two weeks on a single charge. are 6.9×4.8×4 "(LxWxD) and weighs about 10 oz.
The Good
The back has a dusty rose look and is not glossy so does not create finger prints. It appears small but is quite solid and easy to use. It has a very stylish look.
The Bad
The E-ink display could have been better with slightly darker letters. Also there is no way of adjusting contrast. There is no backlighting to the screen. Text to speech function is not present. Internet capability is absent since one has to download eBooks with the help of a USB cable.
